This is to all my friends (and cuz) racing this weekend at the Chicago Marathon, Long Beach Marathon and the Ironman Championships at Kona:
I am SOOO proud of each and every one of you. Your dedication to the sport inspires me on the daily. You have put in so, so, so many hours and sacrificed so much to make training for your race this weekend a reality. You are beyond ready for this race. I can't wish you good luck- because that is such a flippant way to acknowledge the hard training and work you have invested into this race. You don't need luck. I just wish you the strongest mind and fastest legs tomorrow and that you execute the race of your dreams. ;-) I will be thinking and praying for each one of you for a great race. Remember- no matter what comes up during the race, don't let it get to you. You are there to do what you have envisioned doing this entire training season. Just go out there and do what you have already seen yourself doing. Make your race dreams a reality. Don't leave anything on the course. Go out to your race and cash out.
I'll be tracking all of you and cannot wait to celebrate after your great race. Get some good sleep tonight- and have an amazing race tomorrow!
